There are several bands named Aghast: 1) Aghast was a Norwegian Dark Ambient band featuring the wives of two known Black Metal musicians. Nebel (Andrea Haugen) was married to Samoth (Thomas Thormodsaeter Haugen) of Emperor. Nacht (Tanja Stene) was married to Fenriz (Gylve Nagell) of Darkthrone. She also did cover-art and photo's for bands such as Burzum, Ulver, Emperor etc. This Aghast had released only one album named "Hexerei Im Zwielicht Der Finsternis" released in 1995 by well known dark ambient label Cold Meat Industry, and then each of the band members had their own way in life. 2) Aghast, which is a French D.I.Y hardcore/screamo band, who also plays angry political music. The’ve put out splits with bands such as 1000 Travels of Jawaharlal and Sed Non Satiata. 3) AGHAST! an extreme metal band based in London, The United Kingdom. They have released 2 e.p's and are currently believed to be recording another e.p. They have been featured in numerous UK magazines. 4) There is also a Romanian Black/Doom Metal band under the name Aghast.
